Only one week to go now until our Travelling Trends Fashion Show. Doors open at 7pm, with catwalk performance at 7.30pm. We have a raffle and a bar, the raffle is promising some very exciting prizes.
Tickets are still on sale at only £5 buying three will get you a free one.
Please come along to what promises to be a fun filled evening.

First meeting and lots to look forward to

First meeting of the year last night, went well and nice to see some new faces. We have produced our calendar of events for the coming year and are very excited to bring our new fashion event to school next month.

Ooops I did it again!

No surprises but we had nil point on the applications for posts of chair and vice chair.........so we have agreed to do it again, however after 2 years we really really really really really will stand down...............!!!!!!

Hope everyone had a fab day, we raised £4700 which is really amazing, so many many thanks to you all.

If you cant get near school then we will be in the Methodist Car Park from 0815 - 0845 to collect your goods.

RED SQUIRREL DAY WORLD CUP FEVER JUNE 19 2010

Here at PTA HQ we are all getting very excited about the forthcoming big day. All our preparations are now nearly complete as we count down to our big event of the year.
Our theme WORLD CUP FEVER provides an excellent platform for all our wannabe fancy dressers.
Our Parade will begin around 1pm with prizes for the best fancy dressers.

We do hope to see you all there.

RED SQUIRREL DAY 2010

PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ON A STALL?

RED SQUIRREL DAY SUMMER FAYRE SAT JUNE 19^th 1-4pm

We will need lots of help from parents and carers to run the stalls during our summer fayre. If you would like to volunteer, you can either add your name directly to the help rota which you will see around school and on the pergola over the next few weeks, or contact Kathryn Francis/Helen Hornby (details below).

The help slots are hourly from 1pm until 4pm and cover a variety of stalls. You can volunteer for as much, or as little as you like.

Sunday 9th May Cycling Event and Fun in the Park

Hi

Please join us for a morning of fun, if you have a bike/scooter/two feet then please meet us in the carpark at school at 11am, from here we will cycle/scoot/walk to school and enjoy some fun activities in Canford Park.

The event is 50p per person. To register your interest please see a member of the PTA in the Trym Diner next week 0830 -0900hrs

DISCO DIVAS

Hi all
Thanks for a super night on Friday, although quieter than usual, we still had a fabulous time at both discos. The kids had lots of space to run around and the mums and dads were able to sit and chat with a cold beer.

Our next event will be on the 9th of May which will be our cycling event from school to Canford park. See you there

Easter Parade

what a fantastic turnout for our end of term Easter Bonnet Parade. It was really lovely to see so many fantastic hats, we were overwhelmed and feel that this ought to be a permanent fixture on our Easter Calendar.

Thanks for all the lovely cakes too, we made just under £200, so many thanks.

Where does time go?

Hi everyone, it is now April and so much has happened and I have fallen on the wayside in terms of keeping this blog up to date. So many apologies but will give you all the news now as I have it.

Since I last wrote the lovely new playground equipment has been installed outside Mr Merry's classroom. This is for sole use of the children in KS1.

New playequipment coming in the next few weeks

This is similar to our new play structure for KS1 playground. Will be higher and more challenging but will look a bit like this......I hope!

We are also getting some new bits for the log trail.

Am excited!
